Thanks to this result, the company now ranks in the top 10% of the industry globally.

Entel is the only South American telecommunications company recognized in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index in its DJSI Chile and DJSI MILA Pacific Alliance categories, which recognizes the best execution at international level for its sustainability management in the economic, social and environmental spheres.


The technology and telecommunications company maintained its presence on the list for the eighth consecutive year, placing in the top 10% of the industry globally by increasing its performance in 15 of the 25 criteria evaluated.


Regarding this achievement, Entel’s General Manager, Antonio Büchi, stated that “this is a very complete evaluation in multiple dimensions of sustainability, which speaks of a company that is serious about being sustainably profitable”.


For the Sustainability and Communications Manager, Francisca Florenzano, “we are especially proud to have achieved the highest score in areas such as transparency-reportability and innovation management, which is bringing us up to the level of global benchmarks in this area and ensuring our leadership in terms of good practices. Being in the top 10% globally reflects why sustainability is one of our strategic pillars, thus fulfilling our purpose of bringing the infinite possibilities offered by technology and transforming society in a responsible, inclusive and sustainable way”.
