In May, the Teatro Mori Entel National Theater Tour will open its 2017 tour in La Araucanía, with two free plays.


One of them will be the comedy “Bajo terapia” (in English “Under therapy”), starring Amaya Forch, María José Illanes, Willy Semler, Mónica Godoy, Nicolás Saavedra and Khaled Darwich, while the other will be the family staging “El Ratón Pérez, al rescate de la infancia”, (character who takes the children's teeth, equivalent to the tooth fairy).


“Bajo terapia” will be presented on May 24 and 25 at the Aula Magna of Universidad Católica de Temuco, while “Ratón Pérez” will be presented on May 27 and 28 at the same venue.


The Teatro Mori Entel 2017 National Theater Tour begins its tour of Chile and its first stop will be in the La Araucanía Region. Temuco was the chosen city, so between May 24 and 28, it will present two outstanding productions free of charge at the Aula Magna of Universidad Católica de Temuco (UCT).


One of these plays will be the comedy “Bajo terapia”, written by the Argentinean Matías del Federico, directed by Patricio Pimienta and starring an outstanding cast formed by Amaya Forch, María José Illanes, Willy Semler, Mónica Godoy, Nicolás Saavedra and Khaled Darwich. The production was the most watched play of 2016, with more than 35 thousand spectators to date.


The story revolves around three couples who go to therapy with the intention of dealing with their conflicts, but will encounter a more intense session than expected. The performances will be on Wednesday May 24 and Thursday May 25 at 8:30 pm and free tickets will be handed out on Tuesday 23 and Wednesday 24 between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm, at the Aula Magna of the UCT (maximum 2 tickets per person).


Meanwhile, “El ratón Pérez, al rescate de la infancia”, by the national company Observatorio Popular and directed by Mauricio Bustos, tells the story of a mouse who will go on an adventurous journey to rescue the childhood and innocence of humans. Its performances will be on Saturday, May 27, at 5:00 p.m., and on Sunday, May 28, at 12:00 noon. Free tickets will also be handed out at the UCT, between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm (maximum 4 tickets per person).


Both plays are part of the third version of the Mori Entel National Theater Tour, a project supported by Entel and under the Cultural Donations Law.
