In a year characterized by the pandemic and the great challenges it has implied in terms of connectivity and economic reactivation, the technology and telecommunications company Entel carried out a series of actions to support customers and collaborators. The objective: to ensure the conditions for them to stay connected and take care of themselves, while continuing to carry out daily activities such as work and study, but from their homes.
Thus, in March, it freed up the use of social networks and strengthened the network and its digital customer service channels, in addition to ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and safety in all its services.
It is in this context that Entel once again obtained first place in the Telecommunications sector and sixth place in the overall ranking in the measurement by the Spanish signing Monitor Empresarial de Reputación Corporativa (Merco), a worldwide reference instrument, thanks to its multi-stakeholder methodology, composed of six evaluations and 25 sources of information.
Regarding this, Manuel Araya, Entel’s Manager of Regulation and Corporate Affairs, said: “It has been a challenging year, but full of opportunities to continue improving. The pandemic showed us how essential it is to be connected, to keep in touch with our loved ones, to telework and study remotely, among other activities. In that sense, and considering that this has been an extremely complex year for everyone, as a company we have been concerned about turning our purpose into concrete actions, bringing the infinite possibilities offered by technology closer to people all over the country.”
