The national tour will arrive in Valparaíso this month with two free plays: the comedy “Nuestras mujeres” (in English “Our Women”), starring Willy Semler, Claudio Arredondo and Gonzalo Robles, and the family staging “El Principito” (in English “The Little Prince”).


“Nuestras mujeres” will be presented on August 17 and 18 at the Aula Magna of Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María, while “El Principito” will be presented on August 20 at the same venue.


The Mori Entel National Theater Mori Tour will arrive this month in the Valparaíso Region with two outstanding plays, which can be seen for free at the Aula Magna of Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María, between August 17 and 20.


One of these productions will be the comedy “Nuestras mujeres (in English “Our Women”), starring Willy Semler, Claudio Arredondo and Gonzalo Robles, and directed by Patricio Pimienta. The play, chosen the best comedy in Argentina in 2016, revolves around three friends who for 35 years have been meeting to eat, play poker and talk about their wives. One night, one of them arrives late and from that moment on, the lives of the three of them change forever.


The shows of this play will be on Thursday, August 17 and Friday, August 18 at 8:30 pm, and free tickets will be handed out on Monday 14 and Wednesday 16, from 8:30 am to 2:00 pm, at 1051 Esmeralda Street (maximum 2 tickets per person).


Meanwhile, “The Little Prince”, by the company TeatroArtes and directed by Rolando Valenzuela, will be presented on Sunday, August 20 at 12:00 and 17:00. Free tickets will be handed out on August 17 and 18, from 8:30 am to 2:00 pm, and they can also be picked up at Esmeralda 1051 (maximum 4 tickets per person).


Both plays are part of the third version of the Mori Entel National Theater Tour, a project supported by Entel and under the Cultural Donations Law.

Meanwhile, the executive director of Centro Mori, Cristóbal Vial, said:“Centro Mori has been consolidating its presence in regions and thanks to Entel we are taking the best of national theater to different parts of the country for the third consecutive year. In two years we have brought together almost twenty thousand people and we continue to work hard on our goal of decentralizing culture through quality theater accessible to all audiences.”

This is the third stop of Teatro Mori Entel 2017 Tour in Chile. In May it visited the Araucanía Region with great success and, in June, Coquimbo. After Valparaíso, it will continue to the Los Lagos Region.
