More than two thousand people attended the two plays that the Mori Entel National Theater Mori Tour brought last week, free of charge, to the Valparaíso Region.
The premiere in the Valparaíso Region of the play “La puerta de al lado” (in English “The Next Door”), directed by Patricio Pimienta, was presented in two shows, on Wednesday, May 23 and Thursday, May 24. Meanwhile, the family play “La guerra de las matemáticas”, by the national company Los Contadores Auditores, was enjoyed by the families who attended its two presentations this weekend.
“We are very pleased with the welcome that both plays received in the Valparaíso Region. Our goal is to support the transformations of society and bring culture for free to people all over the country”, commented Alexis Licci, Entel’s Marketing Manager.
Along the same lines, the executive director of Centro Mori, Cristóbal Vial, said: “Once again Valparaíso welcomes us with open arms and reaffirms the importance of bringing quality works outside the capital. We follow the route happy with the reception of each region and with the clear objective of decentralizing culture through quality theater accessible to all audiences”.
The 2018 Mori Entel National Theater Tour began its tour in the Coquimbo Region, followed by Valparaíso, and will continue its tour until August through the regions of O’Higgins and Antofagasta.
