“Rubber Duck” by Dutchman Florentjin Hofman, was one of the interventions that attracted the most attention, both in Santiago and Valparaíso.

“Patrimonial Mural”, a 300 m2 hyperrealist painting, will remain for six more months in the building in Barrio Lastarria.

With record numbers ended today the urban art festival Hecho en Casa Entel (in English Homemade Entel), which surprised with five large-scale urban interventions, which were visited by more than five million people live in the Metropolitan and Valparaiso regions and more than four million interactions on social networks.

This year, for the first time, the festival took a work to the regions. The chosen city was Valparaíso, where thousands of people visited and took pictures with the Rubber Duck, which reappeared in the Port’s bay between October 5 and 7.

In parallel, in the Metropolitan Region, the other four urban interventions were deployed during the eleven days of Hecho en Casa Entel. Millions of visitors enjoyed the “ Chilensis Butterflies” at the Entel Tower, got wet with “Clothesline” at Paseo Bulnes, some got their hands in the sand in “We” in front of the MAC and many others saw Luis Núñez paint the “ Patrimonial Mural” on a building in Barrio Lastarria, all this thanks to the work of about 500 people.

The mural by Luis Núñez, from Antofagasta, will be the only work that can still be visited, as it will remain in the building on Rosal Street in Barrio Lastarria for six more months.

“We are very happy with the affection and enthusiasm for this Hecho en Casa Entel. This motivates us to continue working to massify and improve access to urban art” , was the balance of Payo Söchting, creative director of the festival.

“Bringing the Hecho en Casa Entel Festival to the regions for the first time was a success. The goal of having more people be amazed by these monumental works and connect with the culture and the city was achieved”, said Antonio Büchi, CEO of Entel.
