• The second stop of the “Entel prende tu ciudad” (in English “Entel lights up your city”) tour, which will continue in other regions of the country, filled the streets of Rancagua with lights and colors.

Yesterday, the capital of the Libertador Bernardo O’Higgins region hosted the “Entel prende tu ciudad” night cycle race, which is part of a series of races in different regions of the country.


Rancagua welcomed more than 5,000 people, including children, teenagers and adults, who came to the Patricio Mekis Sports Center to enjoy this fun family event, which included 5 and 10 kilometer circuits.


The activity, which began at 8.30pm, was brightly colored thanks to the caravan of bicycles decorated with lights that moved through the streets of the city.

“Our commitment as Entel is to connect and unite people, which we can do through sport and outdoor life. We thank all the young people, children and adults of Rancagua who took part in this celebration,” said Gonzalo Cortes de la Piedra, Entel’s Regional Business Manager.

For Manuel Ojeda, one of the participants in the activity, “being able to take part in this family cycling event with my two children and my wife makes us very happy. We would like to thank the organizers for inviting us to ride these 5 kilometers”.


At the end of the night ride, there was a party with a show by the children’s group Cachureos, who entertained the most enthusiastic cyclists with their well-known musical hits, performed by the characters Gato Juanito, Conejo Wenceslao, León Chester, Epidemia and Chocman.


Entel prende tu ciudad’ will be held in the cities of Coquimbo and Puerto Montt over the next few weeks.
