• After the event, participants were able to enjoy a free live show by the group Eyci and Cody.

Rancagua was bursting with color last night, with the thousands of people who took to the streets to participate in the “Entel prende tu ciudad” (in English “Entel lights up your city”) tour, a family nighttime bike ride that is being held for the first time in the O’Higgins Region.

The city received more than 3,500 children, young people and adults, who came to República de Chile Avenue, in front of the Patricio Mekis Sports Center, to enjoy this massive family party, which included cycling circuits of 5 and 10 kilometers.

The activity, which began at 8.30 p.m., lit up the night with colored lights, thanks to the caravan of bicycles that began to move forward lighted by the streets of Rancagua.

“Our commitment as Entel is to connect people with sports and outdoor life. We thank all the families and groups of friends who were part of this new experience and who joined this great nighttime bike ride” , said Rodrigo Solar, Entel’s corporate marketing manager.

At the end of the bike ride, there was a show by the band Eyci and Cody, who entertained the most enthusiastic cyclists with their well-known dance hits.

“Entel prende tu ciudad” will now move to Puerto Montt, where it is expected to attract some 3,000 people. It was previously held in La Serena.
