• The last stop of the “Entel prende tu ciudad” (“Entel lights up your city”) tour filled Juan Soler Manfredini Avenue in Puerto Montt with lights and colors yesterday.


• After the Cyclethon, participants were able to enjoy a free live show by the Cachureos group.


With great success and the participation of more than 3,500 people, last night in Puerto Montt took place the big Family Night Cyclethon, the last stop of the “Entel prende tu ciudad” tour, which includes a series of races in different regions of the country.


Children, teenagers and adults arrived at the Plaza de Armas in Puerto Montt at 8.30pm yesterday to enjoy this fun family event, which included 5 and 10 kilometer races. The event filled the city with color, thanks to the caravan of bicycles decorated with lights that made its way along the city’s Juan Soler Manfredini Avenue.

“Our commitment as Entel is to connect and bring people together, and we can do this through sport and nature. We would like to thank everyone who took part in this new experience and joined us for this great night cycle ride,” said Nino Parodi, Entel’s Regional Manager.

Carlos Joyt, one of the riders, said: “The ride was a lot of fun. It was a great experience and we had an incredible time here in Puerto Montt.”

At the end of the ride, there was a public party with a free show by the Cachureos group, who entertained the crowd with their well-known musical hits, performed by the characters Gato Juanito, Conejo Wenceslao, León Chester, Epidemia and Chocman.


“Entel prende tu ciudad” is a new sports and family experience that has also visited the cities of Rancagua, Valparaíso and Coquimbo with great success, with more than 13,000 people attending last night’s event in Puerto Montt.
