The new episode of the docu-reality premieres this Sunday:

‘OnWay’ and Email Marketing were the tools implemented by this transport SME to start its technological transformation in the third episode of Entel Empresas’ docu-reality, which is already in mid-season and airs every Sunday, at 2:45 pm, on Chilevisión.

“An SME dedicated to SMEs”. This is how Lucas Gallo defines his company, Envíos Gallo Negro, which started in the middle of the pandemic delivering parcels all over Santiago. Today, it is no longer just Lucas’s car, but has 20 drivers between the regions of Valparaíso and Maule, and delivers to around 600 SMEs.

This is the SME protagonist of the third chapter of “Misión Pyme”, which will be broadcasted this Sunday at 2:45 p.m. on the screens of Chilevisión. The docu-reality is produced by Entel Empresas and since 2018 has adopted this format to promote digitization and support companies in their growth through technology, so that they can be part of a real technological transformation.

This season has been full of novelties. The undercover agent is one of them. This incognito character is in charge of identifying problems and gaps in each business, as well as the ideal technological solutions for them. In the next chapter, with Envios Gallo Negro, the agent infiltrates as a new driver of the company.

In addition, there was the presence of the “Experto Entel” (in English “Entel Expert”), a character who communicates “internally” with the agent from the emblematic Entel Tower, guides him in his work and contributes off-camera with his experience to ensure the success of each technological transformation process.

There were two problems for the small and medium-sized transport company. The first had to do with the control of the orders that are delivered and the routes. In this sense, customers had to assume that the package had arrived and the routes were done by hand. The other shortcoming was the lack of customer loyalty, since the website was only used for scheduling, but had no campaigns to take advantage of routes or reward customers.

Lucas Gallo provided for that now “we manage more or less exact times with customers. Before we had the information, but not in such short periods of time. We are happy to have participated, that people know us and that our idea is also to help entrepreneurs. We are their allies, the ones who work alongside them, dispatching their products”.

The solutions

For the first of the problems detected in Envíos Gallo Negro, the lack of routes and control of orders, the undercover agent had to go through the communities from end to end, in the order in which the deliveries were made by hand. For this, a tool developed by Entel Ocean, Entel’s digital unit, “OnWay”, a fleet manager that organizes the routes, and the extension of the additional module of shippify, which will help with the tracking of the delivery of shipments, was incorporated.

To improve customer loyalty, the company implemented Email Marketing, software that allows customers to be contacted by name, in a personalized way. In addition, the same solution can be used to send campaigns, discounts or special promotions.

“Our goal is to be partners of SMEs and encourage the adoption of technological tools in different sectors. That is why we accompany them and make sure that the tools they incorporate are the right ones for each business. Today, digitalization is necessary, and we can make this leap together”, said Alexis Narbona, manager of Soluciones Digitales Empresas y Pymes.
