Casa Itza is an SME that opened its doors in October 2022 and offers several spaces to create, collaborate and share. It has a Co Work, a café, rooms for workshops and even painting exhibitions, and seeks to reach more people with its proposal. For this reason, its owner, Max Palominos, is the protagonist of the second episode of “Misión Pyme” (in English “SME Mission”), which was broadcasted last Sunday, July 9, on Chilevisión.
“Misión Pyme” is the docureality made by Entel Empresas, which since 2018 has adopted this format to promote digitalization and highlight the path that companies must take to boost the growth of their businesses, with the help of technology.
The objective of the technology and telecommunications company is to encourage the adoption of technological tools in SMEs from different sectors. As in previous editions, experts accompany the businesses to facilitate this technological transition.
This season is full of novelties and in the two chapters aired and available online, you could see the “undercover agent” who is in charge of identifying the main problems and gaps of each business, as well as the ideal technological solutions for each one. But that’s not all. There was also the presence of the “Entel Expert”, a character who communicates “internally” with the agent from the emblematic Torre Entel, guides him in his work and contributes off-camera with his experience to ensure the success of each technological transformation process.
In the case of Casa Itza, the main problems were the internet connection in their Co Work and the poor organization of their social networks. Max Palomino explained that “one of our weaknesses was the speed and stability of the internet, and they helped me a lot by installing a system that allows to improve the whole connection. In the case of my business, the support was greater because the user of the cafeteria or Co Work needs a stable connection, so the benefit went directly to my clients”.
The impact of Misión Pyme
The first chapter showed the impact of digitalization on Librería Luces, owned by Cristian Azcorbebeitía, which implemented two key Entel tools: Sales Manager (CRM) and Google Workspace. The CRM, specially designed for SMEs, allows exhaustive tracking of commercial actions completely online. This system avoids clutter and makes it possible to manage the entire sales process from any device and location. It also has a notification system that helps to avoid missing opportunities and important tasks.
Azcorbebeitía pointed out that “one can work, but with technology all processes are much easier”, adding that they are still learning how to use the different tools. “We know that we can still get more out of them, so we will continue to work with the Entel Empresas team”, he said.
In Casa Itza, the Entel Fiber Optic service was implemented, which allows up to 30 users connected with an excellent signal, and the Wembii SSR management tool. With this, Max Palominos will be able to schedule in a single day the publications, review metrics and, thus, use his time more efficiently, considering that most of the functions in the cafeteria of the place are performed by him.
“The main objective of Entel Empresas is to contribute to the development of SMEs and their technological transformation, and to be their partner in this process. That is our DNA. In this case, we received many proposals and decided to go for those where we could better demonstrate the advantages of digitalization. Today, companies and enterprises must have tools that allow them to make that leap, and it is very satisfying to see the results we have achieved with them”, said Tristán Riquelme, Marketing and Product Manager of Entel Empresas.
The companies that benefit from this initiative each year are selected after a massive casting process carried out through the same Entel Empresas platforms.
