• 70 escolares de la comuna, de entre 4 y 12 años, disfrutaron una entretenida jornada organizada por Entel y Kidzania para despedir sus vacaciones y empezar con energía un nuevo año de clases.

70 schoolchildren from the municipality, aged between 4 and 12, enjoyed a fun day organized by Entel and Kidzania to end their holidays and start the new school year with energy.

Students from the Las Lomas area were invited to spend the day at the Kidzania theme park, where they had the opportunity to get to know different professions and let their imaginations run wild.

The students come from the municipal primary schools of República de Brazil, Gabriela Mistral and Ignacio Serrano de Melipilla, among others.

In the park, they were able to play, explore and learn about different professions and trades in a life-size city built especially for them. Throughout the day, they pretended to be firefighters, drivers, doctors, actors, radio announcers, chocolate makers, photographers and journalists, among others.

“At Entel, our number one goal is to bring people together, not only through technology, but also through experiences like this, where children can experience the world of possibilities that lie ahead,”said Katherine Martorell, Entel’s Director of Sustainability and Communities.

[

“The vast majority of our children have never had the opportunity to go on holiday. This is like a day off for them,” said Sandra Palomo, president of the Las Lomas 5 Neighborhood Council in Melipilla. “We are also giving them the opportunity to develop ideas about what they want to do in the future. Everyone is very excited. We are very grateful for this initiative,” he added.

“At KidZania we want all children, regardless of their condition, to have the possibility to visit our park. Therefore, as part of our CSR program and through Entel, we wanted to welcome 70 children from Melipilla to get to know this unique place, where they will not only have a good time, but can learn and discover more than a hundred professions and trades such as firefighter, doctor, cook, among others,” explains Pedro Vidal, Content and Experience Manager of KidZania.
