Entel led the meeting that brought together Endeavor Chile, MadeInnConce and the Centro Nacional de Inteligencia Artificial (CENIA), to analyze the main trends in the country.

As part of the International Day of Innovation and Creativity, and as part of a permanent link with the main actors in innovation, Entel, which celebrates its 60th anniversary in 2024, held the Meet Up Ecosistema (in English “Meet Up Ecosystem”) event on its premises. This meeting, attended by more than 100 representatives of leading innovation organizations such as Endeavor Chile, MadeInnConce and the Centro Nacional de Inteligencia Artificial (CENIA), served as a privileged space to share experiences and analyze the trends that are shaping the future of the country.

The activity consisted of a series of presentations by different guests, accompanied by an immersive virtual reality experience offered by Entel for the attendees. This event also served as a meeting point to reflect on the growing influence of emerging technologies. For example, the director of the Centro Nacional de Inteligencia Artificial (CENIA), Álvaro Soto, said that “artificial intelligence will continue to allow us not only to access information more simply and quickly, but also to be more efficient in our daily lives, both at a personal and work level”.

Meanwhile, when speaking about the evolution of entrepreneurship and its impact on the country, the founder of MadeInnConce, Emilio Hernández, said that “we are convinced that the trend of entrepreneurs will continue to think big, not only for themselves, but also in order to support the development of the national economy”.

In line with the above, the manager of Selection, Growth and Alliances of Endeavor Chile, Camila Postigo, commented that “entrepreneurs who manage to scale up quickly generate a virtuous circle by supporting new entrepreneurs, which will ultimately allow us to strongly promote the development of the country and its regions”.

Finally, Entel’s Innovation Manager, Carlos Rodríguez, highlighted the activity, emphasizing the importance of collaborative innovation: “We understand that the new challenges facing society, companies and individuals must be solved through innovation and networks. Therefore, at Entel we seek to co-construct and carry out open innovation, with companies, partners, academia and others, to face new challenges with a positive outlook, which positions us as a reference in our industry”.

This event marks the beginning of a series of meetings that Entel has planned in the future to continue strengthening the innovation ecosystem in the country, promoting the exchange of knowledge and collaboration between different actors in the sector.
