These are:


Customers People segment:


  1. Freeing up the use of social networks for mobile telephony customers. Understanding that these platforms are nowadays essential for the coordination of teleworking and permanent communication with family, friends and co-workers. This measure is aimed at both customers with a plan and prepaid customers (the benefit applies to WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, Facebook Messenger and Twitter). Until March 31.
  2. Strengthen and promote digital customer service channels, such as the website, the Entel App and social networks.
  3. Guarantee the highest standards of hygiene and safety in its services for those customers who have scheduled visits with executives for technical support or installation at their homes.

Business and Corporate customers:


  1. Entel Empresas offers its customers who do not have a Microsoft Teams tool, the use of this application at no cost and for 6 months for collaborative work of their devices from anywhere.
  2. In addition, Entel Corporaciones will also offer its customers and non-customers a one-month free activation of the"Home Office para todos", (in English, “Home Office for tveryone”) service, which provides collaboration and unified communications solutions for remote work, with which workers will be able to access messaging, file sharing, online content creation and calls. The service includes up to 1,000 Cisco Webex user licenses for each company to work remotely.
  3. In order to promote self-care, Entel started a campaign toencourage teleworking by providing information about its benefits and tools, free and for a fee, related to communication, collaborative work and file backup in the cloud. The information is now available at Comunidad Empresas.
  4. All mobile customers with Business and Corporate plans will have unlimited mobile internet traffic between March 17 and 31, so that they can use all the communication tools and applications they require from their smartphones and other devices. This benefit is free of charge and is additional to the GB contracted in the plan.

We want to take care of the health of everyone, including those who work at Entel, so from 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18, all our stores will be closed. We have reinforced our digital channels: our APP and entel website, with 24-hour service to meet the needs of our customers.


In addition, we have taken a series of actions in order to ensure the safety and health of our employees, as well as to safeguard the commercial and operational continuity of our business, such as:


  1. Minimizing face-to-face meetings between employees, customers and suppliers.
  2. Home office or teleworking mode for employees whose role and responsibilities can be performed remotely and risk groups identified by the WHO.
  3. Reinforcing the use of available technological tools in order to reduce the impact on our work and service.
  4. Constant communication at the corporate level of our preventive protocol, following the hygiene regulations issued by the authority.

Finally, in our role as a technology and telecommunications company, we reinforce our call for the rational and responsible use of telecommunications networks, just as we do in other emergency situations: “We ask that the use of work and remote education tools at home be prioritized over the recreational use of the Internet, mainly during working hours and peak traffic hours.
