A recognition for the public disclosure of information on sustainability was received by Entel, this by the Agenda Sustainable Leaders 2020 (ALAS20), which rewards companies and investors from different items in countries such as Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Peru and Chile.

The Vigeo Eiris rating agency evaluated using the research methodology based on ESG (Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance) criteria and international reference standards. “The development of sustainability in Entel is fundamental, as it is part of our purpose of responsibly transforming society. With this recognition we are able to show our progress and the work carried out transversally in the company to increasingly reinforce our commitment to sustainable development”, said Entel’s Director of Sustainability and Communities, Jimena del Valle.


The telecommunications company ranked third nationally, preceded by Enel Chile and Viña Concha y Toro in terms of excellence in the public disclosure of information on sustainability, which allows it to adequately inform the various stakeholders of corporate governance, social and environmental practices. The measure evaluates the company’s policies, practices and results regarding human resources, respect for human rights, environmental protection, its commitment to the community, its behavior in the markets, and its corporate governance.
