Entel was recognized as the fastest mobile network in Chile, according to the results of the annual study by Nperf, a French mobile and fixed network benchmarking company, which in its latest edition highlighted the technology and telecommunications company for its performance during 2023.
According to the results revealed by nPerf, which covers January 1 to December 31, 2023, Entel achieved an average download speed of 55 Mbps, consolidating itself as the preferred option for users seeking a fast mobile internet experience, as it allows, for example, to perform activities such as streaming in 4K smoothly and without interruptions.
In addition, the data shows that Entel achieved a latency of 39 milliseconds, indicating a fast response and more immediate interaction with online content. This low latency is critical to ensure a smooth browsing experience and optimal real-time connectivity.
Highlighting the technology and telecommunications company’s leadership in the country, the nPerf study also recognized Entel as the leading provider of 5G services, with an average download speed of 184 Mb/s.
“These results generate us much joy, as it demonstrates our commitment to deliver the best service and experience to our customers, and how they can already enjoy the best 5G network from Arica to Puerto Williams, including Rapa Nui”, said Entel’s manager of regulation and corporate affairs, Manuel Araya.
