Additionally, the technology and telecommunications company was awarded the Energy Excellence Seal in the Bronze category for the implementation and monitoring of the truck used in “Reutiliza por Chile” (in English Re-use for Chile”), which is 100% electric.

Entel received two important awards that highlight the fostering of the circular economy from the Ministry of Energy and the Energy Sustainability Agency. Firstly, the Seal of Excellence in the “Efficient Transport and Electromobility” category for the “Reuse for Chile” program, together with the Seal of Energy Excellence in the Bronze category for the implementation and monitoring of this initiative.

The project is part of the technology and telecommunications company’s Sustainability Strategy and, in addition to Entel, Kyklos and the Inclusive Recycling Center (CiR) are participating in it. It seeks to promote the circular economy by recycling and refurbishing unused electronic devices, such as cell phones, CPUs, tablets and computers, as well as promoting digital inclusion by donating these devices - once repaired and in optimal condition - to students in vulnerable situations.
