The telecommunications company Entel has been selected this year as the most innovative in its sector, according to the “Most Innovative Companies Chile” ranking, conducted annually by the ESE Business School of the University of Los Andes, in partnership with the newspaper La Tercera, and which celebrated its seventh edition this year.
More than 300 companies participated in this index, which measures the most innovative companies in Chile in each sector. These companies underwent an evaluation of their innovation policies, processes and procedures, as well as the elements that create and shape the culture of innovation and the impact of innovation on the company’s results.
This comparison clearly distinguishes those companies that innovate as part of their very structure from those that do so unsystematically.
The categories measured in this ranking are: Environment, Strategy, Leadership, Culture, Process Management, People Management, Middle Management Issue, Communication, Impact on Results (KPIs), R&D Spending and Benchmark Comparison.
Manuel Araya, Entel’s Manager of Regulatory and Corporate Affairs, said: “We are very pleased to have achieved first place in this prestigious ranking. For Entel, innovation is an essential part of its business, especially to ensure the creation of long-term value for the company, our employees, customers and the country.”
