In an enriching day of learning, about 90 innovative students were able to delve into the new challenges of Artificial Intelligence. The talk given by Sebastián Rodríguez, Senior Consultant of Trends and Projects of Entel, had the objective of highlighting the uses of artificial intelligence in innovation, in addition to deepening the social impact and ethical challenges of the simulation of human intelligence
The participants of this day were schoolchildren, not only from different corners of Chile, but also from South America, such as Peru, Colombia and Argentina; all of them the brand-new finalists of the contest “Los Creadores 2023” (in English “The Creators 2023”), promoted by Kodea Foundation and sponsored by Entel.
This school digital talent award seeks to encourage early innovation and bring young students closer to technology and the development of digital skills through the resolution of community and environmental issues to meet the challenges of the 21st century, thus recognizing those who will be our next generation of digital talents and leaders of society.
“We are happy to have received these talented young people and their teachers at Entel. We firmly believe that their projects will be a great inspiration for their communities and in the future they will undoubtedly become inspiring leaders. On the other hand, it is worth noting that educational instances such as these are essential to promote innovation, so this has been a very good step to move in that direction” said Federico Diaz, Entel’s Director of Social Impact.
In the current context, where Artificial Intelligence drives the forefront of innovation, it is necessary to share essential knowledge with the next generation of innovative minds, so this event represents an important step in Entel’s commitment to inspire and empower talent, motivating young people to lead the way towards a digital future.
