Entel consolidated its position as the telecommunications company with the best reputation in Chile in the XIV edition of Merco Empresas Chile 2023, which analyzed 44,095 surveys conducted nationwide, among consumers, workers, managers, union and government representatives, consumer associations, analysts and academics.
In addition, by ranking ninth overall, the telco is part of Merco’s Top 10 for the eighth consecutive year. Regarding this, Entel’s Sustainability and Communications Manager, Francisca Florenzano, stated that “we thank each of the people who highlighted us in their responses. This recognition is the result of a commitment that all of us who work at Entel take very seriously, to bring the infinite opportunities offered by technology to all Chileans, without leaving anyone behind”.
In this context, some of the initiatives that have been promoted are the replacement of devices in four regions, including 27 communes, in view of the upcoming shutdown of the 2G network and the Entel Reutiliza tour, which has contributed to the country through the management of electronic waste.
The Merco Ranking (Corporate Reputation Business Monitor) is a reputational assessment tool launched 24 years ago, which has a multi-stakeholder methodology consisting of 25 evaluations, making it a benchmark monitor worldwide, with a presence in 16 countries.
