With the objective of continuing to deliver simple, efficient and innovative experiences, supported by a robust state-of-the-art infrastructure, Entel through its innovation management and ChileGlobal Ventures, venture capital area of Fundación Chile, launched the third edition of “Inventing the Future”.
Through this call, the technology and telecommunications company seeks to recognize initiatives related to digital services, which are developing highly technological innovative solutions to meet the needs of service and consumer experience.
This edition is aimed at startups with high growth potential that have validated technologies at commercial/technological level, and that are able to meet the challenges posed by the company: home technical service scheduling; digital management of requests and complaints; and digital management for the return and exchange of products.
“Purchasing habits and customer service are constantly changing and at Entel we seek to adapt and anticipate their needs, to give them the best experience. Therefore, through this call we are looking for startups that creatively and technologically solve the challenges that our customers face on a daily basis; solutions focused on people that contribute to the development of the technology industry”, said Patricia Elías, Director of Alliances and Open Innovation at Entel.
Arturo Labbé, Director of Corporate Venturing at ChileGlobal Ventures, said that “this call that we are making with Entel for the third year, reinforces the importance of Corporate Venturing as a strategic tool to promote greater interaction and relationship of large corporations with startups around the world that are designing new answers to respond in an innovative way to the challenges faced by the productive sectors. We invite the entire ecosystem to apply and see an opportunity to scale their businesses in Chile and Peru, countries where Entel has operations”.
The winner of the call will have the opportunity to develop a pilot of their innovation with Entel with reach in Chile and Peru. In addition, the finalist startups will be analyzed by the search and selection team of ChileGlobal Ventures with the possibility of being included in its startup portfolio.
