Entel’s Business Community, which began as a web platform for B2B interaction for micro-entrepreneurs and SMEs in Chile, is now a digital ecosystem with 60,000 users across Chile, consisting of a website, Facebook fan page, Twitter account and YouTube channel.
This community aims to strengthen the business of micro-entrepreneurs by deepening three key priorities for SMEs: The first aims to create a space for interaction where small businesses - whether they are Entel customers or not - can access valuable free online training courses, as part of the SME Development Program, taught by Incuba UC professors; the second invites access to a wide range of benefits and discounts offered by the company in different areas for members of the community; and the last encourages both watching videos and reading testimonial articles from successful businesses, so this platform has also served as an effective showcase to share positive experiences with third parties that serve as motivation. All to help them boost their businesses.
It is also possible to access interesting content. Examples include three articles currently published on the web with recommendations on (1) how to maintain sales during the summer, (2) how to succeed on Instagram, the social network that is becoming more relevant every day as an important tool for doing business, and (3) the government measures that will be taken in 2016 to promote productivity as the engine of the economy, with a focus on innovation and financing for entrepreneurs and small businesses.
“In the so-called Year of Productivity, platforms such as this one take on a special importance, offering Chilean micro-entrepreneurs and SMEs free access to B2B interaction, where they can share their experiences and access tools that will help boost their businesses,” said Entel Empresas’ Deputy SME Manager, Tristán Riquelme.
Regarding the number of visits to the site and the profile of its users, Tristán Riquelme pointed out that “the Comunidad Empresas site has an average of 50,000 visits per month, of which 63% are Entel customers and 50% of Facebook users are from the regions”.
“In addition, we are proud to say that in the last three months we have reached 4,000 registrations of people interested in attending online training courses that offer topics related to digital marketing, innovation, optimizing finances for small businesses, leadership and project planning, among others”, highlighted the SME Assistant Manager of Entel Empresas. A study called “Profiling of Business Community Users”, highlighted the SME Assistant Manager of Entel Empresas.
A study called “Profiling of Business Community Users”, commissioned by Entel in November 2015 to the company Artool, concluded that this digital interaction system for micro and small businesses meets 80% of users’ expectations.
For this reason, Comunidad Empresas is the place of interaction for SMEs with the greatest strength from the point of view of engagement, with a significant number of followers who comment both on the site and on their social networks. We work daily to add more users and surprise them with attractive proposals in what is already a complete digital ecosystem.
