Carlos Rodríguez, Entel’s Innovation Manager, commented “participating once again in the Avonni awards in the Entel ICT category fills us with pride and reinforces our commitment to collaborate with innovation in the country, contributing responsibly to transforming our society. The quality of the projects that have been awarded in these ten years is of a high level, which is demonstrated by the growth and development of the winners of previous editions and the impact they have on society today”.

In its 10 years of existence, the Avonni National Innovation Award has recognized more than 120 initiatives. Regarding this, President Michelle Bachelet said that Avonni “has played a very important role, highlighting initiatives that represent the best practices of innovation and creativity in our country. It is fair that we recognize the hard and passionate work of our innovators, because it is an incentive, because starting with something new is not always easy”.

[

In line with the above, the executive director of the Foroinnovación Foundation, Isidora Undurraga, said: “ To celebrate 10 years recognizing innovation without giving money is a very special model in Chile. The fact that we have been able to continue over time is proof that a proposal of this type manages to gather the masses, unlike what many might think”.

At the ceremony, held yesterday at the premises of Televisión Nacional de Chile (TVN), 15 initiatives were awarded in different categories. In addition, a special recognition to the Innovative Trajectory in memory of Anacleto Angelini was given to Roberto Musso, who was nominated by the network of Avonni winners from previous years.
