The ranking prepared by the company, of its best-selling devices during the first half of 2022, reveals that there are certain features that users choose when buying a new cell phone. The quality of the photos, the type of screen, the speed and the memory with which they come, are important aspects, and from the official launch of the fifth generation network in December 2021, for buyers began to take relevance that the phone can connect and have access to 5G.
If in January of this year, approximately 30% of cell phone sales were of 5G devices, the latest figures for July show that sales of 5G devices already exceed those with 4G and reach more than 55% of the total.
In fact, among Entel’s best-selling models in recent months, four of them are compatible with the fifth generation network. Samsung, Apple, Motorola and Xiaomi are present in the list with devices that allow access to a higher browsing speed, with lower latency.

Another characteristic that can be seen in the table is that consumers are opting for mid-range phones upwards. Only one of the cell phones in the top 10 sales is low-end. Two iPhone models and one Samsung are premium and the rest are divided between high-end and mid-range.
Currently, thanks to certain discount events that take place during the year, it is also easier to access equipment with different features.
