Last week, the plays “Nuestras Mujeres” (in English “Our Women”) and “El Principito” (in English “The Little Prince”) were presented free of charge at the Aula Magna of the Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María.

3,300 people attended last week, at the Aula Magna of the Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María, to see the two plays that the Mori Entel National Theater Mori Tour brought free of charge to the Valparaíso Region.

“Nuestras Mujeres, directed by Patricio Pimienta, was presented in two performances on Thursday, August 17 and Friday, August 18. Meanwhile, the family play “El Principito, by the national company TeatroArtes, was enjoyed by all the families who attended its two performances this weekend.

Both productions are part of the third version of the Mori Entel National Theater Tour, a project supported by the telecommunications company and covered by the Cultural Donations Law.

“The reception from the people of Valparaíso was extraordinary. Our visit to this region has been incredible, especially because leaving Santiago to show our work to other audiences is always very gratifying. To present the show here was a great experience”, said Willy Semler, actor of “Nuestras Mujeres”.

[

“We are very happy with the reception that both plays had. Entel’s goal is to connect people and, in this case, it was fulfilled thanks to culture, bringing high quality plays to the Valparaíso Region,” commented Rodrigo Solar, Entel’s marketing manager.

[

Meanwhile, the executive director of Centro Mori, Cristóbal Vial, said: “Centro Mori has been consolidating its presence in the regions and thanks to Entel we are taking the best of national theater to different parts of the country for the third consecutive year. In two years we summoned almost twenty thousand people and we continue to work hard in our objective to decentralize culture through quality theater accessible to all audiences”.

The 2017 Mori Entel National Theater Tour will now continue its tour in Puerto Montt.
